July 2022 Highlights: Ivy Ash ☀️

How are we in August already! After another busy month, check out below to see July's monthly highlights. This way, I get to ensure my memories and key moments are noted down, and if anyone suddenly decides they desperately need to know what I was up to in July 2022, they can still find out here! Here we go…

Highlights

  1. Holland. Half of July was spent in Holland finishing off my travels. I had plenty of stroopwafels (gluten-free of course!).

  1. Pre-save campaign. My pre-promotion for new track YOU, NOT ME got well underway. Many of you have pre-saved it already, so a huge thank you for that! Your support is the best. It’s not out until August 5th (so that’s this week, eek!).

  1. TRACK OF THE WEEK. Yasssss! Dean Jackson from BBC Music Introducing Leicester listened to it and made it Track of the Week straight away, I’m so honoured! This is the third time I’ve had the pleasure of being Track of the Week and I’m just as excited as the first time. While I was in Holland, Summaya Mughal interviewed me online (BBC Radio Leicester) to celebrate the song, and the track was played every day on the radio too.

  1. More support. As well as the fabulous support from BBC Radio Leicester, Brody Swain and BBC Coventry and Warwickshire have also been supporting and playing the new track ahead of release. A big shout out goes to those who have reviewed the song, wrote blogs, and discussed it online too, lots of exciting things happening!

  1. Show prep. 14th August 2022, 2pm, Mill Gardens Stage. I’m going to be performing at Leamington Art in the Park Festival. This is a wonderful community event and I’m so happy to be a part of it again. The added bonus this year is that there will be British Sign Language interpreters by the side of the stage whilst I’m performing too!

Bring on August! I hope you’re all having a lovely summer so far, and I can’t wait to hear your thoughts on YOU, NOT Me once it’s out Friday 5th August. Pre-save via this link: https://ampl.ink/IvyAsh
